Sesuai dengan Peraturan Menteri ESDM No. 26 tahun 2018 pasal 20, setiap pemegang tanggung jawab (IUP Eksplorasi, IUPK Eksplorasi, IUP Operasi, Produksi, dan IUPK Operasi Produksi) wajib mengedepankan pengelolaan lingkungan hidup.

Oleh karena itu, STA secara aktif berpartisipasi dalam pengelolaan lingkungan dan mendukung program-program pemerintah yang berfokus pada penciptaan dampak positif bagi masyarakat sekitar dan masyarakat Indonesia pada umumnya. Kami percaya bahwa kami bertanggung jawab secara sosial dan bertujuan untuk berkontribusi pada pembangunan berkelanjutan.
